Purchase: Hunting Boots I bought them about 3-4 years ago, after hereing my friend rave about his pair. He's a contractor and said he was wearing them all the time, including in snow and subfreezing temperatures. I figured if he's that impressed I would give the Rocky's a try.
Things I like about the Rocky Super Brutes Hunting Boots: I love these boots. I swear they are most comfortable shoes I own. Their icredibly light for a boot. They provide excellent support and excellent traction as well. I've treated them with waterproofing a couple of times, but not to often.
What I don't like about the Rocky Super Brutes: I only wish I had known Rocky makes such a good product earlier.
Hunting Boots Super Brutes quality: Excellent, I believe they have a thousand grams of insulation. They show a lot of scratches from brush and even some grease stains, but they are holding up well. These boots have been put through the ringer.
Super Brutes summary: Do yourself a favor and buy a pair. I don't see Rocky marketing them too much anymore, but know their out there. I wear them for both small game and deer, they work well for both. For deer hunting I just add a pair of socks that wick away moisture and a couple of pair of hunting socks. I do my best not to move from stand all day,and these help me with that. I will admit my feet get a little cold after a few hours, but not like they used to which was brutal. I think Rocky offers other boots for stand hunting, but for me these work just as well.
