Purchase: Purchased at Cabelas for $29.99. A great little reel at a bargain price.
Things I like about the Mitchell 310X Silver: This little reel is smooth and tight. The bail has a positive action and there is absolutely NO slippage in the reel. The price is very reasonable for a 5 bearing reel nad it's as smooth as you'd expect. I was cheap and didn;t buy the GOLD with 10 ball bearings but I am really enjoying this little diamond for panfish. I even like the line keeper that Mitchell incorporates into the spool.
What I don't like about the Mitchell 310X Silver: I have NO dislikes about this reel. Well, OK, I wish the extra spool was not graphite and was made of the same machined aluminum as the first.
310X Silver quality: Solid and tight and smooth, well made and ready to toss in the back of the truck then fish all day.
310X Silver summary: The bottom line is my wife enjoyed my ultra light rig so much that I, of course, have purchased another. I bought a second 310X Silver without hesitation. A fine little reasonably priced reel.
