Purchase: Broadheads I purchased several packages of six off from E-Bay. E-Bay was the cheapest place to buy these items new. I paid a low of $24.00 and a high of $28.00 delivered.
Things I like about the Muzzy 100gr 3 Blade Broadheads: The price per unit is very reasonable for the quality of product. I like the stainless steel and aluminum construction fo the corrosion resistance. The practice blades are really great to use, and the cutting blades fly the same. Easy to assemble with reduced chance of cutting yourself. They seem very durable, and I have shot several into fir logs with no structural damage.
What I don't like about the Muzzy 100gr 3 Blade : The trocar tip needs to be sharper. I sharpened mine with a file and stone before hunting with them. They penetrated paper and cloth noticeably easier after I sharpened the tip. The blades could also be sharper then they are stock. I also touched them up with a fine stone. The blades also cut much better after I "finish" sharpened them.
Broadheads 100gr 3 Blade quality: Stainless steel trocar tip, and stainless steel cutting blades. The blades are thick enough to resist bending on any living material. All that I have seen spin true and fit together well.
100gr 3 Blade summary: I will continue using these broadheads because for the price the quality is unbeatable. I had a complete pass through on a large mule buck at 62yds with a 67# bow and 400gr total arrow weight. The arrow cut one rib going in, and went out through the off shoulder blade sticking into the hillside behind the deer. The blood trail was great, and the deer went less then 50yds. I think with a little touching up the Muzzy will penatrate and cut with the most expensive broadheads available.
