Purchase: Black Powder I got this through Bass Pro Shops for $150. 5 days after it arrived it went on sale for $100. I called BP and asked if there was anything they could do for me since it was only a few days difference. They gladly credited $50 to my account. So I then purchased a new Red Head scope for this gun from BP.
Things I like about the New Frontier Beartooth Magnum Black Powder: Excellent documentation. It is Lightweight, easy to load and handle. It shoots Triple 7 pellets and PowerBelt bullets extreemly well out to 100 yds(I have not tried anything else in it). The break action makes it a snap to clean.
What I don't like about the New Frontier Beartooth Magnum: The composite ramrod feels a little flimsy but I have not had any trouble with it.
Black Powder Beartooth Magnum quality: This ML appears to be built very safe and durable for its economical price.
Beartooth Magnum summary: If you are looking for a well made inexpensive Muzzleloader this is it!
