Huntersview Razorback Tree Stands
Tree Stands Manufacturer: Huntersview
Huntersview Model: Razorback
Review Category: Tree Stands
Purchase: Tree Stands A Wal-Mart purchase for $37. Was looking at treestands when another customer praised the product with glowing enthusiasm.
Things I like about the Huntersview Razorback Tree Stands: Inexpensive, simple, light weight and functional
What I don't like about the Huntersview Razorback: Straps use to secure stand to the tree are not attached to the stand permanently. Both ends of both straps hook to the vertical supports of the stand, or in the case of the ratchet strap, to two free floating 'eyes'. Instead of having one end of a strap to secure, two ends have to be contended with. Very simple seat with none too comfortable cushion. So, I removed the seat completely and use the stand in conjunction with a Summit Trophy Seat. Such makes for much more comfortable sit.
Tree Stands Razorback quality: Have used the stand a number of times without a problem. It seems to be holding up well. It's not the most solid I have ever used, but it seems well up to the task of supporting my 200+lbs. I discarded the provided safety harness (what a jumbled messed.) I use a much better full body harness I acquired previously.
Razorback summary: Since safety is not compromised, for the price, it is well worth owning.
