Crimson Talon 125gr. Broadheads
Broadheads Manufacturer: Crimson Talon
Crimson Talon Model: 125gr.
Review Category: Broadheads
Purchase: Broadheads I purchased these at Cabelas for approx. $30 for 3 heads. I bought them because I nedd new heads and wanted to try something new.
Things I like about the Crimson Talon 125gr. Broadheads: I put them on and the flew JUST like my field tips. NO adjustments needed...no retune ofthe bow, no resiting the bow... nothing. Company stood behind their product. They look way cool.
What I don't like about the Crimson Talon 125gr.: They are VERY difficult to get out of the target and the blades bend and/or break very easy when trying to get them out of the target. I hit 2 deer and lost 2 deer. I hit the shoulder blade on one deer and got about 2 inches of penetration. The second deer the only thing I could have hit was a rib bone. Again about 2 inches of penetration. I'm shooting approx. 55ft. lbs. of kenetic energy so that shoulden't be an issue.
Broadheads 125gr. quality: The tips broke off the heads making them so they needed to be replaced.
125gr. summary: I will NOT purchase these again. I will not shoot the replacements the company sent me at anything other than a target and probably not even that.
