Things I like about the Aftershock Hypershock 125 Broadheads: Very accurate. I mean VERY. I have been having issues with manufactures claiming field point flight for years. This is the first broadhead that delivers. I shoot a crossbow so all other mechanicals are out because I had problems with blade opening on release. These have what they call "Inboard center of gravity blade geometry" that hold the blades shut on release and helps deploy them at impact. So I thought I would try them.
What I don't like about the Aftershock Hypershock 125: I would like a bigger entrance hole, but I understand if I want KE at target and the flight this thing has, I may be asking too much. I really would like a 125 grain with a 2 inch cut instead of 2 3/4 inch. Out of two bucks, I had one passthru and he went 25 yeads, and another that didn't pass thru but droped him in 20 feet. I saw how much big blades do fast damage.
Broadheads Hypershock 125 quality: The quality is first rate as is the design. It has an integrated tip. It is amazing how sharp and perfect the tip is. The hardcoat held up to repeated target shots as well as many into the sand pit. The supllied heat shrink tubing for target practice could be more durable, but a couple of shots convince these things fly dead on.
Hypershock 125 summary: I have to say I wish I would have thought up this design. I am very pleased with the performance. I've talked to others who shoot it and they also say the same things. It goes right where you aim it. Pass thru or not, they drop 'em fast and in sight. I guess I'm very pleased.
