Princeton Tec Aurora Headlamp Hunting Gear Misc
Hunting Gear Misc Manufacturer: Princeton Tec
Princeton Tec Model: Aurora Headlamp
Review Category: Hunting Gear Misc
Purchase: Hunting Gear Misc I received this headlamp as a gift.
Things I like about the Princeton Tec Aurora Headlamp Hunting Gear Misc: It's great!. The light is a simple, light weight and small three LED lamp. The lamp puts out a nice soft bluish light. It is quite adaquate for close work or to keep one from breaking one's neck when moving through the woods or stepping along a trail at night. Its 3 AAA batteries are internal to the lamp so there is no external or weighty battery pack. Very comfortable to wear.
What I don't like about the Princeton Tec Aurora Headlamp: Nothing...it's a fine, little lamp.
Hunting Gear Misc Aurora Headlamp quality: Simple, tough lamp housing attached to an adjustable, elastic headband. Lamp position/angle is also adjustable, and the lamp housing is waterproof.
Aurora Headlamp summary: It's a winner! I have had this headlamp for nearly two years now, and I have changed the batteries only once. I have a bigger and stronger lamp in the Petzl Myo 5, but the Aurora gets me into and out of the woods and enables me to assemble, disassemble or manage equipment very nicely. It certainly isn't a lamp for long distance needs, but it's not designed for such. Takes up little to no space and; happily, it hasn't failed me yet.
