Things I like about the Danner 42218 Hunting Boots: I recently aquired a pair of Danner 8 inch pronghorn Camohide MOBU with a 1000 grams of Goretex. These boots are extremely comfortable and as always they are well built from the sole up. Danner boots provide the support one needs for extended days in the field as well as the warmth needed to stay out as long as is required to bag your game. Whether your hunting for trophy deer or going for a rocky mountain elk. These boots will provide you with the most comfortable fit during all your outdoor adventures.
What I don't like about the Danner 42218: The shoestring hooks are extremely small and hard to grab when lacing the boots. The passage for the foot into the boot is narrow. Although these are hinderances at the onset they do not distract from the boots comfort and quality.
Hunting Boots 42218 quality: Very well built. Danner has always produced finer quality boots. The construction is also high quality and the boots ultimately fit like a pair of form fitted gloves.
42218 summary: I would recommend these boots to every serious outdoorsman who values fine craftsmanship as well as the finer products in life. I have never been the kind of person to buy into all the extra hooplah of needing a bunch of toys and accessories to go hunting for deer or any other animals for that fact, but I do feel that comfort for the feet is a key importance while hunting. These boots will provide this comfort and keep your mind on the hunt and not your feet.
