Rocky Timberwolf 1000 Hunting Boots
Hunting Boots Manufacturer: Rocky
Rocky Model: Timberwolf 1000
Review Category: Hunting Boots
Purchase: Hunting Boots The boots were purchased from Dick's Sporting goods after I realized my old Ted Williams kangaroo skin boots were worn out and leaked. The Timberwolf boots were on sale for $89.
Things I like about the Rocky Timberwolf 1000 Hunting Boots: After shopping around, I realized that the combiniation leather and Gortex boots allowed lighter weight and more insulation that the traditional leather-only boots. The Timberline boots were also the most comfortable of any of the boots in any price that I tried on.
What I don't like about the Rocky Timberwolf 1000: Unfortunately, the workmanship on the left boot resulted in the instep bulging out over the sole of the boot. This became apparent the first time I headed to the woods. A quick trip back to Dick's and I was fixed up with a "matching" pair of boots with 1st rate workmanship. After a dozzen trips to the field, I remain very pleased with the boots.
Hunting Boots Timberwolf 1000 quality: The boots are well constructed, very comfortable and most importantly, they keep my feet warm and dry.
Timberwolf 1000 summary: I'd highly recommend the same boots to anyone.
