Things I like about the Orvis Bird Dog by Ben Williams Instinctive Training Method: I've raised Brits for years now and have had some pretty good hunters. Ben's advice was solid and I learned a lot even at my age. Ben explained and detailed everything well. Too many books just give one quick description and leave you feeling dumb, this one went out of the way to explain methods without talking down to you.

Bird Dog by Ben Williams Instinctive Training Method summary: Orvis wouldn't offer it, if it wasn't a good read. Just when I thought I knew most everything about gun dogs along come a book such as this to open my eyes. It's paying big dividends for me and my new brit.
