Purchase: Hunting Gear Misc I am a totally disabled person that loves to hunt. My walking ability is extremely limited and I just had bilateral total knee replacements. I needed something that was easy on my knees and powerful enough to do whatever it took to bring my deer harvest to the camp. I purchased this fine machine at Honda Village in Natchitoches, La. The price, with financing was $7300.00. Yamaha financing handled the cost with no out of pocket expense on the day of purchase.
Things I like about the Yamaha 660 Grizzly Auto-Differential 4-Wheel Lock In On Command Hunting Gear Misc: I love the way the Grizzly automatically shifts from 0-67 mph so smooth that you can't tell it shifts. All you do is accelerate and de-throttle down to stop, with very little braking needed. I love the 3 wheel and 4 wheel drive options on command because it gives the towing power for a trailer or hauling game or pushing trails up, over, around and through any creek or hill that I may have to cross. It also has a 2,000 lb. wench operable from the seat to allow you to control wenching when needed, from your seat, thus saving my knees. It has 2 trip miles, time of day, speedometer, gas gauge, odometer and all of this is backlit in digital reading, either in klms or mph's. It also gives me the smoothest ride ever and I feel safe and secure on it and my health worries are at a minimal. I forgot to mention that I have had a double by-pass open heart sugery and a stent put in which really caused me to need and choose this particular ATV. I found it to be very "User friendly" to a person that has serious phisically limited abilities and problems.
What I don't like about the Yamaha 660 Grizzly Auto-Differential 4-Wheel Lock In On Command: I am sorry, but I love everything about this ATV.
Hunting Gear Misc 660 Grizzly Auto-Differential 4-Wheel Lock In On Command quality: The 660 Grizzly has solid metal framing with radiator cooling and completely enclosed hard ABS lining to keep mud or limbs from hitting you from the running boards up to both fenders. It has a heavy duty front bumper, front and rear racks, metal skids, Warn Wench and towing package in the rear for easy connection to a ball hitch or a plain drop pen. All of the ABS is color coded to match the color scheme of the entire 4-wheeler.
660 Grizzly Auto-Differential 4-Wheel Lock In On Command summary: I wish that I had known of the Yamaha 660 before I purchased another 4-wheeler because I would have purchased it first. I gave my other 4-wheeler away just to get rid of it. The Yamaha 660 Grizzly is an ATV that anyone could own and be very proud of and trust it to do anything you ask of it. It has also brought many conversations with people that I did not know because they wanted to talk about the beauty and magnificense of it. WoW, what a lovely ATV!
