Cabelas F3 100 grain Broadheads

Things I like about the Cabelas F3 100 grain Broadheads: Excellent value. The ferrule is very strong and holds the blades securely. Very sharp tip - cuts on contact. "Bacon skinner" blades could have been sharper, not as sharp as by Thunderheads but sharp enough. 285 fps flies like a field point, no tweaking was required on my set-up. Spun true on the shaft with a bit of trial and error - actually easier to true-up than Thunderheads and require no O-ring so they can be tightened securely in the insert. Took two hogs - 150 and 250 lbs. Hogs are tough - rarely get passthroughs but these points nearly made it through, penetrated approx 10 inches and stopped under far hide on heart/lung shots.
What I don't like about the Cabelas F3 100 grain: Blades could be sharper. Replacement blades / practice blades not yet available.
Broadheads F3 100 grain quality: Not the prettiest finish but who cares. Blades lock in securely and they seem to be true to the center axis - very good for the money.
F3 100 grain summary: Tremendous value. Great penetration - fly like field points for 40 bucks a dozen - these will be my standards from here on out!
