Trail Timer EZ-2500 Cam Trail Cameras
Trail Cameras Manufacturer: Trail Timer
Trail Timer Model: EZ-2500 Cam
Review Category: Trail Cameras
Purchase: I bought this camera through a Sporting Goods wholesaler for $115. I bought is primarily because of the good luck I've had with prior TrainTimer brand timers. It is my first camera.
Things I like about the Trail Timer EZ-2500 Cam: I just developed my 1st roll of film this weekend and the picture quality was surprisingly good. I followed the instructions exactly meaning I used an Alkaline 9 volt for the sensor and 4 Lithium AA's in the camera along with 400 film. I suspect weak/poor quality batteries are a large part of many problems with remote cameras not sensing. I am very pleased with this purchase and plan to buy 2 more this week.
What I don't like about the Trail Timer EZ-2500 Cam: No complaints.
EZ-2500 Cam quality: Construction is good. The camera stayed out in the woods about 3 weeks in some very hard rains with no problems. I got no pictures at 1st but when I moved it over a salt lick, I got 25 shots in 6 days. Everything is enclosed in the box which tends to make it more resistant to moisture. The strap that holds it to a tree is much easier to use than the belt buckle type Trail Timer used years ago on their multiple event non camera timer.
EZ-2500 Cam summary: I would recommend this camera to anybody. You can buy 3 or 4 of these for what you will get one digital for which allows you to monitor more locations.
