Purchase: Broadheads I bought these For 29.99$ for 6 at The Archery Center Of Montana. I shoot a Hoyt TurboTec at 325-327fps and i needed a broadhead that would fly with consistency.
Things I like about the Rocket Arrowheads Ultimate Steel Broadheads: I was shooting Rocket mini-blaster 3 broadheads and they worked fine, but i wanted a replacable bladed fixed-bladed head. I was browsing and saw these. They looked like they would work good with my set-up, and they did. The super small design works great for fast bows, flys like any expandable head, but with fixed bladed performance. This season, I downed 3 deer, an elk, and a prong-horn. All fell within 65 yards, ironicaly, the elk only went 7 feet! For only a 7/8 inch cutting diamater, i was sceptical, but they will go through any thing. I even shot through 9 sheets of aluminum to test them out.
What I don't like about the Rocket Arrowheads Ultimate Steel : You should sharpen the blades before use.
Broadheads Ultimate Steel quality: After shooting through the 9 sheets of aluminum, only the blades where dull, i replaced the blades and shot a nice 3x5 Mulie buck 2 weeks later. The furrle was in like-new condition.
Ultimate Steel summary: this is an exeptional broadhead. They are my only choice from now on. I suggest any one who shoots a fast bow to give these a try, They are also good for slower/youth bows, my son took his first buck with these shooting a Browning micro-Adrenaline at 46#lbs.
