Tru Ball True Fire Team Realtree Archery Equipment
Archery Equipment Manufacturer: Tru Ball
Tru Ball Model: True Fire Team Realtree
Review Category: Archery Equipment
Purchase: Archery Equipment I bought this relaese at a local sporting goods store in Columbia, MO. I paid right at $50.00 with tax.
Things I like about the Tru Ball True Fire Team Realtree Archery Equipment: This release is really great. I used a Cobra brand release for many years, but with all the features on the new models, I figured I'd give one a try. I initially went looking for a Scott brand release, on the recommendation of several friends, but found the Tru Ball to have more features at a lower price. The adjustable length is really great, and with a shorter release you can position the trigger so that it contacts your finger between the first and second knuckle, instead of at the tip. This improves accuracy because you won't "punch" the trigger due to lessened "feel" in that area of your finger. The strap is also very comfortable, and I have had no issues with serving wear, and I shoot a league through the winter months, so it has seen quite a bit of use.
What I don't like about the Tru Ball True Fire Team Realtree: The only thing I don't like is the double caliper design, I wish Tru Fire offered a single caliper model like Scott Archery.
Archery Equipment True Fire Team Realtree quality: I think the construction is very good. No freys or pulled stitches, and the metal parts are finished in camoflage, which I like.
True Fire Team Realtree summary: I think the Tru Fire is a good release at a great price. I would suggest anyone in the market for a good, adjustable length release take a look at Tru Ball before making a decision.
