Things I like about the Rocket Arrowheads Mini-blaster 3 broadheads Broadheads: I like the fact you dont need any ruber-bands or o-rings for the blades to open. The blades are also super sharp, in fact i cut my self so bad installing these on my arrows, i had to get 6 stitches on my hand at the e.r (be carfull). This season i went Elk hunting and on the 4th day stalking a big bull, i finaly got a shot (actualy two) at the big bull. Im not sure how many hunters this has happend to, but when i released the arrow, i got a heart shot and the big bull just stood there! The second shot made a complete pass through going through both lungs. Needless to say, he didnt go any where.
What I don't like about the Rocket Arrowheads Mini-blaster 3 broadheads: The blades arent very strong, after i shot the bull, i looked at my first shot and two blades where stuck in a rib bone (off of the frule). I was kind of dissapointed. These are made for a bow that shoots over 280#fps, (my bow a hoyt turbotec, shoots arrows at 319fps) so make sure your bow is compatable with these.
Broadheads Mini-blaster 3 broadheads quality: All right, not the sturdiest broadhead, i dont use them ne more.
Mini-blaster 3 broadheads summary: These broadheads are ok for a deer sized critter, not for elk. I now use the ultimate steel broadheads, witch are great for slow or fast bows (also made by rocket). Dont buy these if your hunting bigger animals than deer.
