Nils Master Jigging Shad Fishing Lures
Fishing Lures Manufacturer: Nils Master
Nils Master Model: Jigging Shad
Review Category: Fishing Lures
Purchase: Fishing Lures I acquired these lures at Fleet Farm in Fargo, ND. This is a sort of home improvement/sporting goods store. I paid $4.59 for the lures.
Things I like about the Nils Master Jigging Shad Fishing Lures: I loved that it caught fish while out icefishing. I out fished my buddies probably 3 to 1 on walleyes at Jamestown Reservoir. The lures have excellent swimming action. I also caught the two biggest eyes measuring 16 and 15 inches respectively. Nice ones for out ice fishing. Tip the bottom treble with a minnow head.
What I don't like about the Nils Master Jigging Shad: From my experience this lure doesn't catch fish unless you constantly are working it. Not bad for the diehard fisherman, but with a straight jig and minnow you do not have to work the bait constantly. Some of the larger baits are too big for my tastes. I would buy the smaller sized.
Fishing Lures Jigging Shad quality: The construction quality of these baits is excellent and they seem to be more durable than the Rapala equivalent.
Jigging Shad summary: These baits are great for icefishing. I think that many people would be wary of using them, because they trust live bait more. I found that they produce more and bigger fish than just a straight bobber and jighead with minnow. I would recommend these to any serious ice angler.
