Purchase: Fishing Lures I acquired this lure from Scheels All-Sports in Fargo, ND. I paid $4.99 for the lure. I acquired the lure to search for spring largemouths and crappies in the shallows of a nearby lake.
Things I like about the Matzuo Shallow Seeker MCB5 Fishing Lures: I really like the diving characteristics of the bait and the beautiful wobbling action. The diving depth is 0-3 feet depending upon the speed of your retrieve. I took 6 nice crappies and also caught 3 nice largemouths all in about a 4 hour time period.
What I don't like about the Matzuo Shallow Seeker MCB5: I felt like the lure may be a little high priced, but compared to others it is a fairly good deal.
Fishing Lures Shallow Seeker MCB5 quality: The lure is put together nicely with a beautiful shad colored holographic finish. So, far I have not had one break down on me at all and it has held-up against quite a few fish.
Shallow Seeker MCB5 summary: I would recommend buying the lure, it wouldn't be something that I would troll, but I definately think it has its niche as a shallow spring-time lure in search of any species that likes to hug the warmer shorelines after winter.
