Purchase: Fishing Misc Equip I purchased my Tanksetter from the website: tanksetter.com. I was sick and tired of my propane tanks tipping over and rolling around in the back of my vehicle. I was always worried that the tank would break my fishing, hunting and camping equipment or even worse break off the valve and start spewing propane all over the place. Tanksetter's are $14.95 on the website.
Things I like about the Duke Creek Outdoors LLC Tanksetter Fishing Misc Equip: The Tanksetter easily attaches to the tank and will not come off until you remove it.And it adds a lot of stability to the tank. Last fall I was in Colorado camping and all of our stoves and lighting were hooked up to 20 and 40 lb propane tanks.(Tanksetter's fit 10 to 40 lb cylinders) The Tanksetter's worked perfectly keeping the tanks upright on the rocky uneven ground.And when I loaded the tanks up to get them filled in town(30 miles away)I just set them in the back of my truck without tying them in and all the way to town and back the tanks never rolled around, they stayed upright all the way!!! Before I had these propane tank bases I couldn't get out of my driveway without the tanks rolling around in my vehicle.
What I don't like about the Duke Creek Outdoors LLC Tanksetter: The only thing I don't like about this product is that I didn't have one sooner!!!
Fishing Misc Equip Tanksetter quality: Tanksetter's are made in the USA of a very heavy duty polypropolene that is UV protected. And they attach very easily to the tank with threaded fasteners to the ring on the bottom of the propane tank.You just line up the holes in the bottom ring to the threaded fasteners and screw them in. The tank cannot come off the base until you reverse the fastener.
Tanksetter summary: I believe that everybody that owns a propane tank has a use for this product. It sure makes transporting and using propane tanks alot safer! And it just might end up saving your equipment from gettin damaged on the way to your next outdoor adventure.
