Garmin E Trex Legend GPS GPS
GPS Manufacturer: Garmin
Garmin Model: E Trex Legend GPS
Review Category: GPS
Purchase: GPS Laid out $199 at Eastern Mountain Sports via the internet. I had wanted one for a long time and finally decided to go for it about a week and a half ago.
Things I like about the Garmin E Trex Legend GPS GPS: GPS is new to me, so everything on it is cool. I've been trying to trick it just to make sure it works, so far no luck. This one has all the bells and whistles which is why it cost a little more. Some of the neat things are a trip computer just like in a car it will tell you how far you've gone and how fast you went there. Another plus is the memory is indefinite within reason, no batteries required for something to be stored in memory. This helps in situation where I may only be in a place once a year, but want to find my way back there eventually.
What I don't like about the Garmin E Trex Legend GPS: I thought the price was a little steep. I could have done without the maps of South America, I mean come on how many people do you know who go to South America, yet alone often.
GPS E Trex Legend GPS quality: Very well made and designed for that matter. I especially like the side controls which will be easy to work with gloves on. The best part of the side buttons is they don't obscure your vision of the screen.
E Trex Legend GPS summary: Great unit, could be a little cheaper. I have a lot to learn about GPS, when I do I'm sure there will be more features I don't even understand right now.
