Purchase: Fishing Reels I acquired the reel because I was looking for something for a friend to use while icefishing because she has circulation problems with her hands and must wear gloves or mitts at all times . I paid $36.00 CDN AT WAL-MART .It is a steal for what you get .
Things I like about the Zebco Rhino RSC3 Fishing Reels: I can't say enough good about this reel and even went out and bought another and will likely be buying at least two more only in a smaller version if available . The ruggedness and feel of this unit leave you with a feeling that you bought something of quality and longevity . I like the four ball bearings and the smoothness of it's drag and the bait running feature was a pleasant surprise when I took it out of the box . This feature sent me back to the store for a second reel because it's functional and works very well while icefishing . It allows you to fish your bait and maintain a set depth and if a strike occurs the fish can run with the bait while at the same time giving you a warning by clicking . What a treat that is for us who icefish and are busy at times tending another line or if the light is waning . No woories either about rod going down the hole because with bait runner on the reel allows the fish to pull out line with little resistance yet enough to keep bait at any depth . The big handle and easy to adjust drag on top make it very good for icefishing while wearing mitts or gloves .Big rubber free spool button too . I have tried it in open water too and was surprised how well the reel cast with the heavy line it comes with .Reasonably long casts with very small weighing baits are the norm . Being able to change the reel handle from left to right is also something I have never seen on spincast reels in the past . Another bonus .!! I have always used top of the line spinning and baitcasting reels and am an avid tornament angler but this reel has really turned my crank . Would I reccommend it . You betcha and you can't beat the price .
What I don't like about the Zebco Rhino RSC3: So far I can find absolutely no negatives about this reel unless it was the weight but like most things of quality heft is a given and comes with the territory .
Fishing Reels RSC3 quality: The construction of the Rhino RS3C is solid and built to last . It is easy to use and has features that I have never seen in this price range and doubtfully ever will . It will last for years and take the abuse of kids but is great for a newbie to fishing or a pro, because it was built with a fisherman in mind .
RSC3 summary: The Zebco Rhino RSC3 is built to withstand many conditions and its construction is solid . Yeh it even looks good too .LOL. Smooth drag ,4 ball bearings ,long casts and a bonus bait running feature with clicker . Need I say more .? This reel has it all in one package and at an affordable price for all .
