Purchase: Tree Stands I purchased this model through Cabela's and paid about $60.
Things I like about the Stealth Cam MC2-GV Tree Stands: The price! Easy to setup and load film. Mounted to an optional screw in the tree mount.
What I don't like about the Stealth Cam MC2-GV: The biggest problem is the camera would not rewind the film when finished. Camera motor was not strong enough or film wound too tight.You have to burn a picture in order to check the counter. Needed a side switch to pause or put the counter on the side. Sent it back and after a couple rolls the same thing on the replacement. Waiting for the third unit now. I think I get a refurb instead of a new one.
Tree Stands MC2-GV quality: Seems to be built well but not thought out well in design. Why waist film to check counter. No moisture problems.
MC2-GV summary: You get what you pay for even though $400 cameras aren't perfect either. The one thing that impresses me is that Stealth Cam is willing to keep tring to make me happy. Mike Stacy in customer service has bent over backwards to try and rectify the problem as he is sending a third unit in less than a year. I have to credit them for that as I don't think the warranty is that long.
