Purchase: Tree Stands Tree Stands now day are all good. It's finding the best tree stands giving you the best chance hunting that is the hard part. I bought the Goliath Tree Stand from Summit mid hunting season two years ago. I paid $317 out the door. I didn't much care about the cost due to the fact I had been hunting all day on a small tree stand that kept me thinking more about the treestand and how high I was over the fact I was hunting and not working.
Things I like about the Summit Tree Stands Goliath Tree Stands: The Goliath Tree Stand is just that, big. I no longer have to worry about falling out of a tree while hunting. Because I am a General Contractor there's always a job keeping me from hunting. What time I do have to go hunting is scare so I don't take a minute of it for granted.
What I don't like about the Summit Tree Stands Goliath: The cost was hefty and I'm sure I could have knocked $40 or $50 dollars off the tree stand if I had shopped around a little bit.
Tree Stands Goliath quality: Stury as can be. I guess I should mention I'm 6 foot 6" and just over 300 lbs. Yes I know I should be playing ball and did for a while until an injury. Even with my size the tree stand is solid as a rock. Like I said the last thing I want to think about when hunting is, is this going to be my last time hunting.
Goliath summary: Tree stands in a large size just don't come in better. If this review site had a six score then that's what I'd give it. I've used API Treestands, Ameristep treestands and Grizzly Treestands, but I can tell you this is the best I've found yet.
