Purchase: Fishing Rods I bought this rod at cabellas, in michigan. It was on sale for twenty dollars and I was in need of a heavier action rod for river fishing.
Things I like about the WHUPPIN STICK WMC60W-2 Fishing Rods: I tried it first on the huron river in ann arbor, michigan. I used eight pound test line and was fishing with live worms, spinners and rattle bait. I did best with worms, the fish seem to bite them more often and harder. The fishing rod worked better than my ugly stick, which is great but it feels like there is a constant strike because of the current of the river and a heavier weight gives me a slower response but the whupping stick is a great medium rod and a good bass fishing rod because if it's heavier feel. The lighter tip also allows for easier visibility for those quick or ghost strikes.
What I don't like about the WHUPPIN STICK WMC60W-2: n/a, good for what I bought it for
Fishing Rods WMC60W-2 quality: The construction is great, the only problem I had with it was the foam grips, I really perfer cork. The quality was great as far as response.
WMC60W-2 summary: I think this this a great medium rod, a great price and a great product over all.
