Things I like about the eagle claw laser sharp hooks circle hooks Fishing Tackle: i had read about the circle hooks on several news groups. there were a few people who said that they had missed some hook-ups with the circle hooks, but for the most part the response was good. never using them, but being familiar with the laser sharp hooks, i decided to try them. they were everything i had hoped for. using them for a week, i had no gut-hooked fish. all of them were hooked in the corner of the mouth(unless you count the one skate that was hooked in the wing). never had to set the hook! every fish was self-hooked!
What I don't like about the eagle claw laser sharp hooks circle hooks: nothing. they were a little pricy, but after using them, they were well worth it.
Fishing Tackle circle hooks quality: top shelf. strong and extremely sharp!
circle hooks summary: if you do any still fishing these are the hooks for you. people have said they have 90-95% mouth hooked (non gut hooked) fish. my experience was 100%. if you can't find locally...look for them. they are worth the price and effort!
