Purchase: Tree Stands I have purchased 4 of these stands from Wal-Mart. Normal price was $98.89 each, at which price I bought my first 2 stands. At the end of the season, one of the Wal-Mart locations had them on sale for $75.00 so I bought 2 more.
Things I like about the Hunter's View 12' Buddy Stand Tree Stands: The stands are very simple to put together. It may take 15-30 minutes to have it ready to go to the woods. The stand is very roomy. I have 3 boys who hunt with me often and these stands are great for them.
What I don't like about the Hunter's View 12' Buddy Stand: The foot platform does not extend out the same distance as the rail. Therefore, the hunter should be careful when standing. You can step too far, if you are not careful.
Tree Stands 12' Buddy Stand quality: These stands are put together very well and the instructions are easy to follow. The stands also appear to handle the weather well. The first 2 that I bought have been in the woods for almost a year and I have not seen any visable deterioration of the paint or metal (rust).
12' Buddy Stand summary: These Buddy Stands are great for those people hunting with children and for those who just like a little more room in the stand. They are very inexpensive and easily assembled. Very light weight, so they are easily moved so you can get them to the perfect place to hunt.
