Purchase: A beer box had a promotion on it. I saved all the qualifiers off the boxes and decided I would order the best they had. I always got "stuck" with the old reel and rod when we went fishing and my husband fished with the nice one. The price on this combo was right around $169 but it was free with all the points that I had saved up.
Things I like about the Quantum CF-11-9351: The line on it it goes out so super smooth and is so easy to reel back in. And of course it is well liked because when you catch a fish(or perhaps I should say "When my husband catches the fish" he is one happy man.)
What I don't like about the Quantum CF-11-9351: I made a major mistake when I got the rod and reel to show it to my husband and ask him if he would, please, put the line in it for me. He LOVED the combo. After he got the line in it he had to 'try it out'. Yah-right- The 'try it out' has lasted for a couple of years now. I never get to use the fishing rod and reel unless I go fishing with him, too. He keeps "borrowing it". Ladies--Dont ever ask your husband to put in a line for you--or you may never see this combo again!!
CF-11-9351 quality: It is well made, flexible, and of superb quality.
CF-11-9351 summary: Once again, I recommend that you carve your name in the handle, or your husband is going to claim it himself.
