Purchase: Tree Stands Used it for the first time last weekend during PA's archery season. Paid $179.00 and it even came with a safety harness.
Things I like about the Old Man 12 Foot Ladder Stand Tree Stands: Hunting from the ladder stand is so much nicer than a fixed stand that you put together yourself. First off if I make a bad selection I can move it. Don't get me wrong your going to do some work to move it, but it's better than having to build a new stand. It's a lot easier to get up and down from as well. Everytime I used my old stand I always worried about those old two by fours giving way.
What I don't like about the Old Man 12 Foot Ladder Stand: I should have gone with the taller one. The 12 foot may work a lot of places, but where I'm posted they are coming down hill a lot and I like to be way up there. I may hand this one off to my Nephew who now stand hunts. It's probably a lot safer than what he and his buddies put together.
Tree Stands 12 Foot Ladder Stand quality: Very well made, I especially like the net seat which is good on the back side.
12 Foot Ladder Stand summary: I like it a lot, I can't blame the stand that it isn't high enough, that was my fault. It's very comfortable once up there and a lot better than standing next to a tree, or perching on a couple of old boards.
