Purchase: Fishing Misc Equip Purchased from a Richter exhibit booth at the Lansing,Mi Deer and Turkey Show in spring of 2005. The anchors were available in a small 14lbs , medium 18lbs and the large 25lbs anchors size. I purchase two of the 25 pounders for use with our new pontoon boat as I have never found an anchor that would hold a pontoon boat in place.
Things I like about the Richter 25 lbs boat anchor Fishing Misc Equip: I have used the Richter anchor in the shallows ,the sand ,gravel and its held every time. I dropped anchor in a muck bottom and it sank out of sight , and yet easily pulled back up thanks to its slip ring design. Also the rubber coating helps to shed weeds and keeps anchor rust free and clean. I purchased two and have yet to need more than one anchor at a time.
What I don't like about the Richter 25 lbs boat anchor: It still hurt when I dropped it on my toe !
Fishing Misc Equip 25 lbs boat anchor quality: Constructed of galvanized steel and has a rubber coated body. It grips , it holds everytime and the slip ring on the side bar allows for easy retrieval.
25 lbs boat anchor summary: The Richter anchor is the only anchor I will ever use ,it just plain works and it really is that good...
