Purchase: Hunting Boots Purchased at Bass Pro Shops to help prevent snake bites, thorns and cactus. I paid over 100 dollars.
Things I like about the Rocky Boots 16 inch Snake Hunting Boots: These boots are light weight and comfortable.
What I don't like about the Rocky Boots 16 inch Snake : Boots are not waterproof as advertised. The soft rubber soles split and came apart. Rocky will not stand behind their product nor can these boots be resoled since this a molded sole.
Hunting Boots 16 inch Snake quality: The soles are to soft and do not prevent rocks and other objects from penetrating. I had a mesquite thorn run completely through the bottom of the sole. Ouch!
16 inch Snake summary: I can not see paying over 100 dollars for a pare of boots that will not last any longer than 3 years (worn only during hunting season)and must be thown away due to poor materials.
