Purchase: Received as a gift from my wife.
Things I like about the Magellan Meridian Color: Ease of use particularly the backtrack feature.
What I don't like about the Magellan Meridian Color: After downloading a topo of a specific area I lost several smaller roads that were initially on the unit and I can't get them back.
Meridian Color quality: Constructed well and really is waterproof. I've had it out in the pouring rain and never had a problem. I've used it for two full seaons so far.
Meridian Color summary: The unit has more capabilities than I'll ever utilize. It does what I need and then some. My only negative comment concerns the loss of the original database of small lesser known roads and trails.
