Review Category: Trail Cameras (m-s)

Purchase: Trail Cameras (m-s) I was in the market for a new trail camera and saw this camera on the Outdoor channel. I definitely was going to buy a digital camera until I saw M.A.D. Wildlife Eye. It uses a Sony camcorder. I ordered the unit online from Cabela's for $299.00

Things I like about the M.A.D. Wildlife Eye MD-755 2 in 1Video Scouting System Trail Cameras (m-s): I love this unit, I now get action shots instead of still pictures. You can either buy the unit with a Sony HC21 Mini DV camera, or, if you have a Sony camcorder with a LANC connector, you can buy it without the camcorder and use your own. It is compatiable with 125 newer or older Sony and Canon camcorders. It has many different settings so you can change it to suit yourself. You can put it on 24 hour mode, this will take pictures day or night when something moves in front of it, day only mode take pictures in daylight only, or you can set it to turn on at set times, like the last 2 hours of daylight overlooking a food plot. It is very quick, no delay, I tested it by walking in front of it at 50 feet away, it started as soon as i was in veiw. I live in Pennsylvania and the temperature here has been 75-80* for a high and 60* for a low, the camera has been in the woods for 2 weeks now and I still have some battery left, so set it up and leave it.

What I don't like about the M.A.D. Wildlife Eye MD-755 2 in 1Video Scouting System : I have had this unit about 1 month now and I don't have any complaints

Trail Cameras (m-s) MD-755 2 in 1Video Scouting System quality: The unit is constructed very well. It is a little big, so its tought to hide, which worries me, with my camcorder and the unit, its about $900 in the woods. You never know whos in your woods. It has a cable that comes with it, so you can lock it to the tree and lock it shut so no one can get inside. But cable cutters could change that.

MD-755 2 in 1Video Scouting System summary: Bottom line......If you want to see the deer in action, instead of a still shot, this thing is the ticket. I would buy another one tomorrow if I had the money !!!
