Purchase: Broadheads I purchased the broadheads from cabelas outfitters. The reason I bought them was, they intreged me with opening after penetration consept.
Things I like about the aftershock hypershock Broadheads: I really like these broadheads because of the opening of the blades after penetration. They work very well! I harvested three deer last season. While two of the deer were well placed shots with complete pass throughs.The deer only traveled 30 yards before dropping. One of the shots made was way back,not even close to a fatal shot ,but the cutting width of the blades made up for my mistake.The shot was low enough to sever the hide wide open enough to let the entrails drop out .I still only hade to track the deer 70 yards from the impact.
What I don't like about the aftershock hypershock: The blades on these broadheads are a little delicate. If the blades contact bone or the ground the blades are shot. Also if you miss a shot and the broadhead strikes anything off angle the body tends to bend.
Broadheads hypershock quality: The thought and construction are very well done ,but being aluminum,they are a little on the fragile side.
hypershock summary: These broadheads are a good buy ,if you are willing to put in the practice time for a spot on shot. THEY ARE VERY LETHAL. You must have enough poundage on your bow for a complete pass through shot. They in flict massive trama,which in turn leads to a quick kill. I will use them for all my big game hunting.
