Things I like about the Summit Viper XLS Tree Stands: Summit Stands are very reliable, well constructed out of light yet very durable aircraft grade alumium, seem very quiet, and most off are extremly comfortable. There are also many add-on options for this stand. I believe this is one of the best bow hunting stands i have come upon, used, and like for crawling back in the woods. Setup takes less than a minute with a one strap dissassembly method.
What I don't like about the Summit Viper XLS: Powdercoat seems to chip to easy, but is relativly durable on most of the stand. The shrink tube wears off the cables after 1-2 years of steady use. No bottom self leveling device on my stand, dont know about summit stands now days, mine is 2-3 years old.
Tree Stands Viper XLS quality: The construction of this treestand is awesome. The engineering behind this stand is amazing, by using computerized welding and inspection, Weight tests, and the stand is TMA approved of course. It feels very safe too.
Viper XLS summary: This stand is so quiet setting up, climbing, and sitting in, its just amazing. Its well worth $229-259 if you are a portable hunter, this stand will easily go anywhere.
