Purchase: Walmart's $99 was the lowest price I could find even searching the net - the store I contacted had only two - most Walmarts around here did not stock the unit at all.
Things I like about the Moultree Game Camera MFH-DGW-100: The unit sets up in seconds! Really simple - connecting to PC can be done with any USB cable. Viewing the 1.3m pixel images is as simple as opening a file. The unit takes a 6-volt battery which lasts several hundred photos -I use a rechargable lantern battery which works great in this camera. The battery hookup is two alligator clips so just about any 6 volt source could be used.
What I don't like about the Moultree Game Camera MFH-DGW-100: Something is not right with the use of flash. At close range, images are completely washed out - without flash, images are usually ok for still objects, but blur with moving objects. The infrared sensor is sluggish also - unless you are moving (to set off the motion sensor) dead center in front of the camera (to set off the infrared sensor) the camera won't fire. (I'd like to see variable sensitivity built into the flash, motion sensor, and infrared sensor.)
Game Camera MFH-DGW-100 quality: Built tough - seems real sturdy, but I would like to have seen some transparent lens and sensor covers to protect them from the elements.
Game Camera MFH-DGW-100 summary: Worth $100 - better than 35mm - image quality better than .3 models - next generation will be better.
