G5 Tekan 100 grain mechanical Archery Equipment
Archery Equipment Manufacturer: G5
G5 Model: Tekan 100 grain mechanical
Review Category: Archery Equipment
Purchase: Archery Equipment I purchased the broadheads at Outdoor Specalitites in Lake Charles, Louisiana for about $30.00. I could not shoot tight groups with my fixed blades. I wanted to try a mechanical broadhead for white tail deer this season.
Things I like about the G5 Tekan 100 grain mechanical Archery Equipment: I lke the opening design of the mechanical blades. The owner of the store demonstrated how the blades will open simply by passing the broadhead through a sheet of paper. I shot all 3 broadheads at seperate targets and hit exactly where I aimed. That was something seldom accomplished with my fixed blades.
What I don't like about the G5 Tekan 100 grain mechanical : The only thing I don't like about the unit is that I haven't made a hunting trip to put it to the test. I rated it a only because I have not shot a deer yet.
Archery Equipment Tekan 100 grain mechanical quality: The one piece solid steel with cut on impact tip was fist on my list in selecting a mechanical broadhead. The TEKAN II has it. The mechanical blades are strong and razor sharp.
Tekan 100 grain mechanical summary: At first glance, the TEAKAN II mechanical broadheads caused me to flinch. They look wicked. This broadhead's mechanical design and field tip accuracy are superior to any other broadhead I have shot. I have no doubt that the mechanical blades will, in fact, open after impact. Because of the cut on impact tip, I am confident of complete pass through shots. I can't wait until my first oportunity to put the TEKAN II to the test.
