Summit 2005 model Clearshot Tree Stands
Tree Stands Manufacturer: Summit
Summit Model: 2005 model Clearshot
Review Category: Tree Stands
Purchase: Tree Stands Had the opportunity to look, and try a unit at a winter outdoor show. The latest model has had 4" added to the platform, and the climbing stirrups are standard. Cost about $200.00
Things I like about the Summit 2005 model Clearshot Tree Stands: As an avid bowhunter I have always liked the stands that do not have rails, arm rests, or the like that get in the way. After getting the new stand I immediately took it up, and down several trees. It is the answer I have been looking for to replace my Loggy. The stand is safe, easy to use, and provides the user with unrestricted shot opportunities that other stands I have used featuring bars, arm rests etc. seem to have. I have owned many hang-ons, climbers to include other Summit products. For my own personal preferences in a stand--the Clearshot is great.
What I don't like about the Summit 2005 model Clearshot: I can honestly say that for me I have NO complaints about this stand. I love it.
Tree Stands 2005 model Clearshot quality: The quality, and construction of the Summit Clearshot is good. Their customer service if needed is also good. This is a company who listens to hunters, and takes a back seat to no-one.
2005 model Clearshot summary: The 2005 model Clearshot is better than the earlier Clearshot model(2004). The platform is now 4" longer, and the sides are made to except the stirrups which are included. This stand is an all around winner in my opinion. I really like this stand alot. I have hunted 27 years using alot of different stands, and the Clearshot is now my choice for a stand with no bars, rails that cramp my style.
