Stealth Cam MC2-G Trail Cameras (t-z)
Trail Cameras (t-z) Manufacturer: Stealth Cam
Stealth Cam Model: MC2-G
Review Category: Trail Cameras (t-z)
Purchase: Trail Cameras (t-z) Cash, Academy, deer scouting, $89.00
Things I like about the Stealth Cam MC2-G Trail Cameras (t-z): Takes nice clear photos, somewhat user friendly, nice mounting system when employing the screw-in tree bracket, attractive camo appearance, and affordably priced.
What I don't like about the Stealth Cam MC2-G : Kills you in battery and film developing costs, rewinding noise clearly alerts deer to camera location, lacks an external pause button to avoid in-your- face pictures of the user, and last a lot of wasted frames are recorded of trees and grass swaying in the wind an obvious indication of motion detection only.
Trail Cameras (t-z) MC2-G quality: The plastic latches on the unit I really don't see holding up for very long especially after UV ray exposure. The rest of the housing is well crafted and water-tight. The camera is also light in weight for long distance hauling.
MC2-G summary: All in all, it is a good buy for an expected two years of continous use. For longer periods of use I would suspect one would experience degradation of the housing allowing the introduction of moisture. I would highly recommend opting for the digital cameras for a little more money to reduce battery and film developing costs associated with 35mm cameras.
