Purchase: Walkie Talkies I purchased these Walkie Talkies at the local Radio Shack. I bought them because I'm a commercial mushroom picker from Oregon, and they are necessary in order to contact the people I work with. Plus there's the safety issue (in case I get lost or injured). I paid $50
Things I like about the motorola Talkabout T5720 Walkie Talkies: These units are light yet feel to be solidly built.
What I don't like about the motorola Talkabout T5720: The 5 mile range. Working in the woods and mountains of Oregon limit the range of these walkie-talkies, rated at 5 miles. Next time, I'll get a 5 watt set
Walkie Talkies Talkabout T5720 quality: Hard plastic, solidly built with rechargeable battery packs and charging cradle. Good quality, I assure you
Talkabout T5720 summary: These are great for roadtrips or for use around the neighborhood. Great for family picnics, etc., or anywhere without major obstructions. Still, they only have 1 watt of power. Next time, I'll get at least a 2 watt model
