Things I like about the RedHead 16" Bayou Snake Boot Hunting Boots: The goretex works excellent, this boots are fully water proof. These fit very good and they are excellent for long walks. I hunt in the Florida everglades; the water level was a little higher than 16 inches in a few spots. I was wearing water proof pants and even if the water in some spots was higher than the boots i did not get any water at all inside the boots.
What I don't like about the RedHead 16" Bayou Snake Boot: I hunt in the florida everglades, the water level was a little higher than 16 inches in a few spots.The leather looks terrible after getting the boots wet and needs lots of maintenance. It dries out and to moisturize it later on is very difficult.
Hunting Boots 16" Bayou Snake Boot quality: mix of leather and fabric out side. Goretex liner, and a zipper.
16" Bayou Snake Boot summary: I like the boots. In general these are robust, and well made. These fit excellent and feel very comfortable for a long walking/hunting day.
