Purchase: Shooting Accessories I seen this target in a Cabela's catalog and thought I'd give it a try. I paid @ $160.00 for it at The Great Outdoors in Jasper, IN. The company claims to be able to take broadheads, field points and mechanicals and it does very well. Very happy with it.
Things I like about the Glendel Glendel 3-D Buck Target Shooting Accessories: I have shot this target several hundred times with the same foam layers in it and it keeps stopping the arrows, although, the field points are actually starting to penetrate a little further into the target because of the wear and tear of the layers. Whenever you miss the target area, (the layers)you'll penetrate the "hide" of the target and retrieving an arrow from this section is somewhat difficult but possible. There is something hard in the middle of the target because I've missed the target area and hit the "hide" and it actually blunted my field point tip?? I don't have a clue what is in the center of this target, but it is a very dense material. I also like the "realness" this 3-D target has. I have it behind my house in the country and people actually stop by with binoculars and trying to catch a glimpse of this huge 150" B&C/P&Y buck in my back yard!!
What I don't like about the Glendel Glendel 3-D Buck Target: The only thing I don't like is the fact that it looks too real and could possibly be used as a decoy. Last year I actually had a real buck deer attack this 3-D target and pull it's head off and punch holes in it's side with it's own antlers!!
Shooting Accessories Glendel 3-D Buck Target quality: The construction is very well put together. Very good quality and realism. I have left it out in the snow, rain and searing heat and it is still holding up like a champ.
Glendel 3-D Buck Target summary: Bottom line, I will definitely purchase another Glendel 3-D Buck Target as soon as, or, if the one I have ever tears up. I recommend this to anyone who can afford it.
