Purchase: Hunting Gear Misc My wife asked me what I wanted for Fathers day and I thought and thought and finally came up with a desperate need for a new Rifle. I have a Winchester model 94 but my friends all have Remington's or Ruger's. I told her I needed something with more range so we went shopping. It only took about 5 minutes to figure out what I wanted. I wanted the Remington 700 ADL like her brothers except mine has the special non glare finish and synthetic stock. I mounted a Bushnell 4x12x40 scope and at 100 yards I have experienced groups of less the 3/4 inches with factory load ammo and I could not be more happy. I am a novice hunter with alot to learn but one thing I do know is, once you point this fine rifle at a target you can be assured that it will reach its destination.
Things I like about the Remington 700 ADL 22.250 Hunting Gear Misc: The Remington 700 ADL has a very sleek look and the grip is small and fits my chubby fingers perfectly. It shoulders quick and with see thru mounts, you can pick up a target quickly with the fixed sights.
What I don't like about the Remington 700 ADL 22.250: There is no real dislikes, however the factory trigger pull seemed firm but that was no problem for my local dealer to lighten up, at no charge.
Hunting Gear Misc 700 ADL 22.250 quality: Every mechanical part of this rifle has tight tolerances and seemed well machined. If you blind folded yourself and worked the action, you would think your holding a 3000.00 dollar Rifle.
700 ADL 22.250 summary: It is my opinion that whether your a beginner or a seasoned veteran hunter, if you dont have a Remington 700 ADL in your inventory, your truly missing out on what it feels like to own perfection.
