Hodgdon Triple 7 Black Powder
Black Powder Manufacturer: Hodgdon
Hodgdon Model: Triple 7
Review Category: Black Powder
Purchase: Black Powder Betty's Country Store, { Bass Pro Dealer}. Located near where I live. Price of one pound of powder; $22.
Things I like about the Hodgdon Triple 7 Black Powder: Triple 7 powder is by far the best powder I have ever used in a muzzle-loader.
What I don't like about the Hodgdon Triple 7 : There is nothing that I dislike about this product.
Black Powder Triple 7 quality: The quality of this product is outstanding. I would recommend this product to everyone who shoots a blackpowder firearm.
Triple 7 summary: I have used both FFg and FFFG Triple 7 powder. In my Knight Wolverine .50 caliber rifle, it made a dramatic improvement to the accuracy I get from this rifle in every differant bullet/ powder load combination I tried. I was able to shoot as many loads as I wanted with just using a wet/dry patch on every other shot I made on the rifle range. After shooting cleanup of my equipment was easy. No more hot soapy water, and continued passes with a bore brush. Only a couple of wet patches followed by 3 dry patches, and a lubed patch and I was done. The bore of my rifle loooked brand new, as did all of the parts such as the breech plug, bolt, etc.
