Rifle Scopes Manufacturer: A1 Optic
A1 Optic Model: 3-12x 50mm
Review Category: Rifle Scopes
Purchase: Rifle Scopes I acquired my A1 Optic scope on Ebay last month (Oct). I bought it with the intention of putting it on a Remington 700 BDL that I recently acquired. The Remington is a 25/06.I paid around $75 shipped. I have always wanted a scope that had milliradian crosshair with wide duplex. This scope , being a 3-12x 50mm lens with illuminated reticle (my first).
Things I like about the A1 Optic 3-12x 50mm Rifle Scopes: What I like the most about the scope is it's ability to "see" in very low light and to light up the crosshairs in order to get a relaxed, comfortable POA.(point of aim). The variable control works easily and smoothly and coupled with the adjustable eyepiece and objective lens, the scope is adjustable to my eyesight and any power and range. The scope is easily adjusted for windage and elevation as well and holds POA flawlessly after 20 rounds. It even comes with a set of Weaver type rings.
What I don't like about the A1 Optic 3-12x 50mm: It is a bit big but its functioanlity outweighs this minor inconvenience.
Rifle Scopes 3-12x 50mm quality: Being a one piece sturdy aluminum tube with a powder coated matte finish, it seems quite sturdy and should hold up well under heavier recoil of larger calibers.
3-12x 50mm summary: I am glad that I found this scope and went ahead with the aspect of purchasing the unit and trying it out. It evesn spurred me into learning more about mil-dot shooting...It is something more shooters should look into.
