Crimson Talon Broadheads
Broadheads Manufacturer: Crimson Talon
Crimson Talon Model:
Review Category: Broadheads
Purchase: Broadheads I got these from my Mom and Dad for chirstmas gift. Everyone in my family use thunderhead broadheads. But I wanted to be different. They cost $30 at Cabela's.
Things I like about the Crimson Talon Broadheads: I am a 40+ year old wife, mother, and grandmother who started hunting with bow about two years. I am in my third year now, I saw crimson talons on a hunting show, and I really liked how they looked. The way the blades curve is unique. I like that. I shot my first deer this year 2005. I shot a 9-point buck and the arrow went in the deer further then anyone thought it would. I tracked the deer myself and the blood trail was like a paved road of red. The hole it left in the deer surprised me and the destruction of the vitals amazed me. This is a broadhead that does the job.
What I don't like about the Crimson Talon : I don't like the high price for 3 broadheads and the replacements. I shot one deer and I have to change the blades. But it did go throught the ribs on one side and almost through the other.
Broadheads quality: I like the nice red color with the sleek silver of the blades.
summary: I can't wait for next year and to shoot my crimson talon broadheads again at the next deer I get.
