Comfort Zone Trophy Hunter Tree Stands

Tree Stands Manufacturer: Comfort Zone
Comfort Zone Model: Trophy Hunter
Review Category: Tree Stands

Purchase: Tree Stands I wanted a tree stand with a little more room than my cheap ladder stand has to offer. I picked this tree stand up at Dick's Sporting Goods for around $89.00. It appeared to be the most comfortable of the tree stands they had at the store.

Things I like about the Comfort Zone Trophy Hunter Tree Stands: Read Below

What I don't like about the Comfort Zone Trophy Hunter: I spent three hours putting it together today and when completed I decided there's no way I would ever trust my life in this tree stand. To start the directions are awful with vague statements. They have four different bolt sizes listed, however the only difference was a small amount of length and you literally have to get a ruler to figure out which of the bolts they want you to use. In addition the directions would say use one washer, however several of the bolts had three or four washers attached. It's one thing to have extra parts left over when putting a toy together, its something different when you are putting together a tree stand you're going to trust your life with.

Tree Stands Trophy Hunter quality: Crank those bolts down as much as you want and you'll still find the structure of this tree stand swings and moves. I wanted a rock solid stand not something I would spend more time wondering if it was going to hold. There was rust on the stand coming out of the box, yet another bad sign. Straps galore came with this tree stand, half of them I couldn't even figure out what they did.

Trophy Hunter summary: I spent three hours putting this piece of junk tree stand together and now have to take it all back apart and squeeze it in the box so I can take it back tomorrow. I should have know better than putting my wallet ahead of tree stand saftey. Tomorrow I'll pick up a tree stand from a top name manufacturer even if it means traveling an hour away to one of the better hunting gear retailers.
