Harrington & Richardson 12 gauge Ultra slug 960 Black Powder
Black Powder Manufacturer: Harrington & Richardson 12 gauge Ultra slug
Harrington & Richardson 12 gauge Ultra slug Model: 960
Review Category: Black Powder
Purchase: Black Powder In our state (Indiana), you can use one of these during black powder season. The ultra slug gun is more accurate, reliable and safer to use than any shotgun. Or blackpowder rifle. The only safety on it is the hammer. It has a safty bar transfer to prevent it from going off if it is droped The hammer does not touch the firing pin. . This is better if you are going to climb up a tree. With a shotgun you make clinking noises unloading the shells. With an ultra, you will not. It is just a single shot. The ultra has a twenty four inch barrel. It is the length that is described for the velocities of the sabot rounds. And it will drop a lot less than a shorter barrel. A shotgun is a compromise for a lot of uses. That is where an ultra is best. A bull barrel from a ten gauge shotgun. Only made for one thing. And you can order different barrels for other calabers.
Things I like about the Harrington & Richardson 12 gauge Ultra slug 960 Black Powder: Cheaper than any other slug guns.
What I don't like about the Harrington & Richardson 12 gauge Ultra slug 960: Being able see that it can shoot at one hundred and fifty yards accuratly. Not two hundred. (Our range does not go out that far).
Black Powder 960 quality: Great for the price.
960 summary: Best one made, for anything near the price.
