Review Category: Trail Cameras
Purchase: I bought this Trail Camera for long battery life. I paid $500 for it and it works fine.
Things I like about the Trail sense Engineering Trail Mac Digital D-425: I have not had any problem with water getting inside the case. With a memory card at the high setting it takes great pictures.
What I don't like about the Trail sense Engineering Trail Mac Digital D-425: The camera plugs into a slot at the bottom of the case, and its very hard to remove the camera. Also when you install the battery, the walk test is always on, until you arm the camera. I installed a switch outside the case, so I can shut the unit off. I also made a six inch extention that I pluged into the slot in the bottom of the case. I then velcroed a cupler at the top and pluged the camera in, now I have no problem unhooking the camera.
Trail Mac Digital D-425 quality: The costruction is good. But the flash is not that good. I built a remote slave flash to over come this problem.
Trail Mac Digital D-425 summary: Trail Sense should read my review and add a switch out side the case. Also extend the cord from the board so the camera can be removed .
