Things I like about the Hunters View Hawk Tree Stands: Price

What I don't like about the Hunters View Hawk : The cables goes tru the frame with a loop on the end and you must place locking pins tru the loop while looking tru the pin holes this was hard to do in the dark while holding flashlite. Treestand is also heavy at 27# and I am short at 5ft 9inches and while carring stand with sholder straps the cables hit me behind the knees and made it very difficult going tru woods and over logs. The seat and foot rest do not fit well together and make it difficult to strap together, would help if one was smaller so it would fit together while backpacking, will not take tree stand hunting again. I have did my homework this time and will probably purchace a lone wolf climbing stand at $350. I guess I got what I paid for.

Tree Stands quality: Was constructed well, but could do with some improvements as being lighter, fit together better while backpacking, better cable locking system.

summary: I am 60 years old maybe a younger taller hunter would not have the problems I had. but I would not take this stand into the woods again if someone gave me one.
